Amanda has practised law in Western Australia and Queensland since 2001.

Amanda completed her Bachelor of Laws at UWA in 2000 and was admitted as a legal practitioner after completion of Articles in 2001.

Since 2001 Amanda has worked in the areas of family law, criminal law and civil disputes. Amanda’s emphasis is on providing her clients with sensible advice and professional representation.

Prior to commencing as a director practitioner in 2015, Amanda has worked;

• for a medium size firm with offices in Perth and regional Western Australia; and
• with the Far North Queensland Community Legal Service, specialising in family law and consumer disputes; providing advice and assistance to communities in Cairns and regional far north Queensland.

In 2015 Amanda established AL Thomas Law with the vision of providing clients with personal one to one service. Amanda takes time with each client to ensure that each client has a clear understanding of the legal options available to them, the legal process in which they are involved and the costs associated with each option.
